Elena was a classmate of mine at Price Lab. She was always full of energy and somehow managed to come up with the coolest ways for us to have fun as youngsters. I will forever remember being invited to watch the Kentucky Derby with her and her family and friends. The adults were having their viewing party but Elena and I were too busy rollerskating around her basement to stop for some horses. Those were great days and Elena is very much missed.
