FROM THOSE WHO REMEMBER

"Questions About the New Library" (1960s)

Posted on July 31, 2020
Today's Flashback Friday photo connects with the new history published on our website this week.

(Did you miss it? Be sure to check out the NEW "History of the Library"!)

In this photo we see students talking with their teacher about what things to look for in the building of the new library. (1960s)

When this photo was taken they had so far listed "Machinery such as steam shovel, a drill, tractor, road grader, dump truck,"

What are some of your favorite memories of the Lab School Library?

(And if you happen to be able to identify anyone in this photo, share that too!)

Image shows children sitting in a group on the floor. Several students have their hands raised while the teacher talks to them about the new library being built for their school.
