Ken Butzier was my supervisor for my student teaching assignment in college. He and Dr. VanderBeek allowed me to teach in their respective classrooms, and develop lessons plans. It was the best support and guidance an emerging teacher could have, mentored by two of the best teachers anywhere.
In high school I was in speech, and worked in and on the plays and musicals. Those are experiences that I will never forget, and that have left their marks all over me. There was nothing second rate about these productions, and the detail was amazing.
It was a privilege to attend the Lab School, and a gift because of teachers like Mr. B.
